Springtime in Japan is an otherworldly experience; come walk through a million cherry blossoms in bloom and watch the land awaken to a new season. Visit a Green Tea Field and factory in Shizuoka, travel through the world heritage sites of Takayama and Shirakawago. Stop in Kyoto to see the colourful shrines and Geisha. Join this small group tour and enjoy Japan's must-see destinations during cherry blossom season.


Day 1- 29 March (Tokyo)

Arrive at Tokyo Narita / Haneda Airport. Transfer by shared shuttle taxi to your hotel in Tokyo. Stay 3 nights at Mitsui Garden Hotel Shiodome Italia gai.

Day 2- 30th March (Tokyo Full-Day)

Breakfast at your hotel. Full-day tour of Tokyo with private guide by local subway trains. Tour highlights Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise shopping arcade, Edo Tokyo museum, Imperial Palace Plaza and Ginza area.

Day 3 - 31st March (Tokyo)

Breakfast at your hotel. Full- day Private guided tour of Tokyo using subway trains. Ueno Park and down town for cherry blossom viewing, Roppongi  and Shibuya area.

Day 4 - 01st April - (Tokyo- Shizuoka)

After breakfast travel by bullet train to Shizuoka: home of Mt. Fuji. Tour of Mt. Fuji area with private guide. Tour highlights Fujisan Hongu sengen Taisha Shrine, Sake Brewery visit, Green Tea picking and tea factory visit. Overnight in a hot spring resort hotel. Enjoy Japanese style dinner and a night time walk to see cherry blossoms under illumination.  Stay overnight at Welseason Hotel Lake Hamanako.

Day 5 - 02nd April - (Shizuoka - Takayama)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer back by coach to train station. Bullet train and local train to Takayama via Nagoya. Afternoon tour of Takayama in the old town. Stay 2 nights at Hotel Associa Takayama resort.

Day 6 - 03rd April ( Takayama Full Day)

Breakfast at your hotel. Full day walking tour of Takayama. Tour highlights Takayama morning market, Kusakabe float museum, Takayama Jinya.

Day 7 - 4th April (Takayama- Shirakawago - Kanazawa)

Breakfast at your hotel. Travel by local bus to world heritage site Shirakawago to see the old thatched roof houses and continue your journey to  Kanazawa. Stay overnight at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kanazawa.

Day 8 - 5th April (Kanazawa - Kyoto)

Breakfast at your hotel. Private guided tour of Kanazawa using local transportation. Tour highlights Nagamachi Samurai district, Kenrokuen Garden and Higashi Chaya gai. Transfer by train to Kyoto in the afternoon. Stay 3 nights at the Karasuma Kyoto Hotel.

Day 9 - 6th April (Kyoto Full-day)

Breakfast at your hotel. Private guided tour  of Kyoto. Tour highlights Nijo Castle, Golden Pavilion, Kiyomizudera Temple and Gion Geisha district.  Enjoy Miyako odori Geisha dance performance.

Day 10 - 7th April (Nara Half-day)

Breakfast at your hotel. Half-day tour of Nara with private guide. Tour highlights Todaiji Temple, walk through the Nara deer Park and Kasuga Taisha shrine. Afternoon free at leisure.

Day 11 - 8th April (Kyoto- Osaka Airport)

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer by shared shuttle taxi to Kansai Airport. Options to extend your tour or return to Tokyo available. Please request at the time of booking.
